Virginia B. McLaughlin passed away at her home in Harwood, Maryland on October 26, 2017, at the age of 64.

Ginny is pre-deceased by her parents, Eleanor H. McLaughlin and Robert A. McLaughlin of Pittsburgh, Pa. and two sisters, Eleanor M.Hall and Susan P. McLaughlin. She is survived by her sister, Marianne M. Ford, her brother, Robert A McLaughlin, Jr., along with six nephews, two nieces, nine great-nieces and two great-nephews. She is also survived by her cousins, Eleanor H Thomson, Malcolm Hay, Thomas Hay, Elizabeth T. Park, Peter Thompson and lastly her much loved dog, Doodle.

Ginny was a graduate of Fox Chapel High School in Pittsburgh, Pa and Chatham College in Pittsburgh, PA. 

Ginny was a teacher for many years in the Pittsburgh Public Schools before moving to Maryland where she worked at Port-Townes Elementary School in Bladensburg, MD.  She was very active in her teacher's Union and held positions on various committees. She loved children, the Pittsburgh Steelers, knitting, her friends, and her job.

There will be a private burial.
