Virginia Arnold - Obituary

irginia Gray Arnold, 91, a 5-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Seabrook, MD, died on September 18, 2010 of heart failure after a 2 month illness. Born June 1, 1919 in Colfax, NC, she graduated from Colfax High School. Virginia was employed as a service worker at Villa Rosa Nursing Home in Mitchellville, MD. She loved to travel, spend time with her family and take walks through the neighborhood. She was the beloved mother of Bruce Agee of Clinton, MD, David Agee of Edgewater, MD, Jeff Arnold of Baltimore, MD, Chris Arnold of Fallbrook, CA and the late Forrest Agee; sister of Cammie Atkins of Colfax, NC and the late Jesse Gray, Ellen Bell and Chloe McGee; mother-in-law of Kristine, Sharon and Barbara Agee and Gaynor Arnold. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her former husbands, Macy M. Agee and Walter C. Arnold. Friends are invited to Virginia’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, September 21 from 12pm until time of service begins at 1pm. Interment private.
