n Thursday, September 28,2017 of Oxon Hill, MD. Beloved wife of Richard W. Brake; mother of Linda Kremer; grandmother of Edith Kratzer, Victoria Abel and Linda Stark; sister of Eugene "Luke" Hill, Edward Hill and Eleanor ”Mickey” King. Also survived by three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Friends are invited to Virginia’s celebration of life on Tuesday, October 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. The funeral service will be held at Kalas Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 4 at 9 a.m. Interment Maryland Veteran’s Cemetery Cheltenham, MD.
