Virginia Jackson - Obituary

irginia Mae Jackson (Age 92) In the early morning hours of May 12, Virginia Mae Jackson, originally from Gate City, Va., formerly of Cobb Island, Md. and recently from Herndon, Va. went home to God. Virginia, beloved wife of the late Arnold Jackson and sweetheart of the late Bill Maddox passed away with her loving family by her side. Ginny leaves behind her sister Delia Calderwood of Lady Lake, Florida, brother Vivian Smith and sister in law of Iris Smith of Garden City, South Carolina and little sister Marjorie Keppler of Herndon, Va. Aunt Ginny is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as countless cherished friends who will miss her greatly. Ginny was an avid dancer, a passionate steward of nature and a lover of all her family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Ginny’s Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, Md. 20745 on Monday, May 16 from 10:00 AM until time of service at 12 noon. Interment St. Barnabas Episcopal Cemetery, Temple Hills, Md.
