n Wednesday, January 13, 2010, Virginia Alice Sisson, the beloved daughter of the late Joseph R. and Alice M. Hardy Sisson of Oxon Hill, Maryland, and sister to the late Harold R., Roland H., Wayne H. and Janet Sisson Shaffer. She is loved by her 11 nieces and nephews and their spouses: Donna J. Sisson, Dianne L. Vogel, Sandra L. and Dave Stump; Irene V. Sisson and Terry Stubbs, Valerie J. and Michael Kennedy, Dale W. and Myrtle Sisson, Perry R. and Denise Sisson, Bonnie J. and Carl Rollins, Carol Ann and Tony Porter, Pamela D. and Nick Garcia and Annette S. and Trevor Groen. she was great-aunt to Stacey L. Hail, M.D., Dana M., Eric L. and Lindsey N. Vogel, Kari D., David W., Robert S., Marie L. and Chari D. Stump; Taylor M. Stubbs, Dale W.,Jr. and Michael Sisson; Ashley Mullenkemp, Amanda and Richard Sisson, Becky Skebo and C.W. Rollins, Candace and Caryn Porter; Danielle and Nicholas Garcia, Aiden Groen. Also surviving are 17 great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Gloria Sisson and Jean Clare and brother-in-law, Ronald Shaffer. Family and friends are invited to Virginia's Life Celebration on Friday, January 15 from 6 to 9PM and Saturday, January 16 from 9:00AM until service time at 10:30AM at the GEORGE P.
