irginia Kiser Williams Virginia “Ginny” Kiser Williams, an 8 year resident of Riva Trace in the Annapolis area, and previously of Mayo, MD, on the Rhodes River, died October 7, 2008 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of Heart Failure. She was 88. Born February 26, 1920 in Charleston, West Virginia she graduated from Charleston High School in Charleston, WV. She worked for the National Security Agency from 1942 to 1955 and later she worked at Mayo Elementary from 1970- 1980. She was an avid reader, devoted mother and homemaker, she moved to the Washington, D.C. area from West Virginia at the start of WWII to work for the government. She rose quickly to a top secret classified position, and then decided to have children and raise a family. Ginny was a former member of Mayo United Methodist Church, and enjoyed crossword puzzles, bridge and canasta, and other card games, and was very devoted to her family and friends. Ginny is survived by her husband Sager A. Williams, whom she married September 2, 1948, and by her sons Sager Williams, Jr. of Annapolis, MD and James Michael Williams of Shady Side, MD. She is also survived by her sister Betty Vogt of Vero Beach, Fl and was predeceased by her brothers Russell, Howard and Roger Kiser and her late sister Velma Munson There will be a memorial service at Ginny's home celebrating her life, which will be scheduled at a later date.
