ivian Imler Cox, 53, a 40-year resident of Annapolis, died suddenly at her home on June 17. She was born on August 26, 1957 in Washington, DC to Brenda J. Imler of Annapolis and the late Joseph P. Imler. Vivian was a graduate of Annapolis Senior High School and received a degree in social work from Bowie State College. She was employed at the Wawa in Crownsville and was a social worker at Mary’s Mount Manor for Boys and Girls. She enjoyed solving puzzles in her leisure time.
In addition to her mother, Vivian is survived by a brother, Joseph Imler of Pasadena; three sisters, Terri Price, Robyn Greene and Juanita Imler, all of Annapolis; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
Friends are invited to Vivian’s Life Celebration on Monday, June 20, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, at 1 p.m. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
