ade Scott Gross, 39, died on May 8, 2016 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. Born on November 4, 1976 in Washington, DC to Connie and Carl Gross, Wade was a 1995 graduate of Southern High School. In 2002 Wade and his wife, Nicki, started an automobile repossession business. Shortly thereafter, they welcomed their daughter, Savannah, into their world. She was the light of his life. Wade fought everyday and suffered immensely to be here for his daughter as long as he possibly could. He loved all things cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed tools and tinkering in the garage, camping with his family and attending car shows and swap meets whenever and wherever he could find one. Wade will always be remembered for his love of life, sense of humor and the many practical jokes he played on his friends. But most of all, he will be remembered as a great son, father, husband and friend to all. He is survived by his lifelong partner and wife, Nicki; his daughter Savannah who was the love of his life; his parents, Connie and Carl Gross; his stepdaughter, Amber Wallace; his stepbrothers, Richard (Patricia) and Carl Welch; his friends, Mark, Boo, Greg, James, Wes and Stephanie who stuck by him to the end, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends are invited to celebrate Wade's life from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Wednesday, May 11 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where his funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, May 12.
