Walter Ulysses Coleman - Obituary

n Monday, September 3, 2018, Walter Ulysses Coleman, Jr. age 58 passed at his home in Washington, DC. Walter will be forever remembered by his wife and son. He was born on July 26, 1960 in Washington, D. C. As a Washington, DC native, Walter attended Bell Vocational High School where he graduated in 1980. He immediately began a military career and returned to later work for GSA which included work at the White House. Walter loved to talk especially about the Redskins and the Steelers. He was an avid sports fan. He always had this uncanny ability to engage others in conversation. Walter was preceded in death by his loving parents, Walter Senior and Jestine, a brother, Roger, and by sisters, Cheryl and Diane. Walter leaves behind to cherish his memory a loving wife of 23 years, Dana, a son Brandon, a sister Tracie (Tony) Whitaker, a brother Keith (Shameka) Coleman and a host of other family members.
