Walter Neece - Obituary

alter Edward Neece, 76, a 9-year resident of Annapolis, MD died on March 24, 2009 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of natural causes. Born October 17, 1932 in Beardstown, Illinois, he attended elementary and secondary schools in Davenport, Iowa. He received his Bachelors degree from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois and his Masters from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. Mr. Neece was a Sergeant in the United States Army from 1953-55. He was employed at the Bureau of the Census in Suitland, Maryland from 1963-2003. He was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine Neece, who died in 2002. Beloved stepfather of Mark Carrick of Manteca, CA and Julie Vaccaro of Oakdale, NY; brother of Harold Neece of Buffalo, Missouri. Friends are invited to Walter's Life Celebration on Monday, March 30 from 11am until time of service at 12pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville, MD.
