Walter Manfried Weber, 74, died peacefully in his sleep on December 22 due to complications from heart attacks suffered over the last few years. For many years, until retirement, he programmed corporate and business returns for the Dept. of Treasury. He lived in Alexandria, VA for the past 29 years.
Walter Manfried Weber was the first blind student to enter and graduate from Gettysburg College, located in Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy J. Weber, and daughter, Anna Marie Weber; his sister Elizabeth Weber LaRosa; sisters- and brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews and great-nephews; and friends.
Services and interment will be held at a later date.
