W

arren C. Sylvester, 76, a 30-year resident of Annapolis, died on March 9, 2011 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. He was born on September 20, 1934 in Baltimore. Warren received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University and had a career as a systems engineer with Omitron Corporation for many years. He was a parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of the Heritage Harbour Chorus and Drama Club where Warren shared his talents as an amateur actor, director, producer and writer of local theater productions. He is survived by his wife, Ana R. Sylvester, whom he married in 1957, one son, Chris (Terry) Sylvester of Atlanta, GA, three daughters, Nita (J.) Sylvester of Annapolis, Marta (Bruce) Potter of Davidsonville and Yvette (Rick) Sylvester-Magee of northern Virginia, also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to Warren’s Life Celebration on Sunday, March 13, from 4 until 6 p.m. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, March 14, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, 383 Main Avenue, 5th Floor, Norwalk, CT 06851.
