William "Jay" Arthur Carpenter, Sr. - Obituary

n Wednesday, February 9, 2022; the beloved father of William "Bill" Carpenter, Jr and Derek Carpenter and the late Sherry Denise Carpenter; brother of Marguerite Carpenter; God-Brother of Josephine Jackson. He is ls also survived by many other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Jay's Life Celebration on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Interment with military honors at Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, June 1st at 11:00 a.m. Please meet at the administration building by 10:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in William Jay Carpenter’s honor to the ASPCA https://www.aspca.org.
