William Alton - Obituary

illiam Miller Alton, Jr. “Billy”, a four-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Billy was 42. Billy was born August 27, 1972 in Redbank, New Jersey to William M. Alton Sr. and Mary Smith Alton. He served in the US Navy, and was stationed in Sicily and the United Arab Emirates. Billy was proud to have been a US Park Policemen for 10 years. Billy was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, Washington, D.C. Lodge 1. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and most of all, spending time with his family, Billy is survived by his wife, Amanda Catherine Alton of Edgewater, MD, two daughters; Emma Grace Alton and Madeline Ann Alton, both of Annapolis, MD, one sister; Chrissy Lynn Fernandez of St. Petersburg, Florida and a step mother; Jacqui Harvey-Alton of Clearwater, Florida. All services will be private.
