illiam "Bill" Richard Aumann, 76, a 4- year resident of Annapolis and previously of Bartow, FL for 20 years, died February 10 at Somerford Place in Annapolis due to dementia. He was born November 15, 1933, and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Early in his career, he worked as a printer for small newspapers in upstate New York. He transferred his skills to the U.S. Government Printing Office in Washington, DC, working for many years as a printer, and then as a proofreader for the Congressional Record. He traveled countrywide and to Canada on long motorcycle tours. Following his retirement in 1994, he and his second wife, Cecelia Helen Aumann, moved to the Floral Lakes Senior Community in Bartow, FL. He enjoyed community activities, vacation cruises and traveling to St. Augustine, FL. After Cecelia's death in 2005, he moved to Somerford Place in Annapolis to be closer to family. He achieved 32nd degree Mason status and was always very active in Masonic activities in DC and in Florida. He is survived by his children: Eric Aumann and Monica Felter, both of Davidsonville, MD; Annamary Holbrook of Riva, MD; Jeannine Langston of Darnestown, MD and Kurt Aumann of Severn, MD. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: Michael, Cara, Eric, Justin, Kyle, Bradley, Daniel and Nic. Friends are invited to William's Life Celebration on Monday, February 15 from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the GEORGE P.
