William Brown - Obituary

f Fort Washington, MD., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Bill served in the Marine Corps, Fourth Division, during WW II, fighting in the Battle of Iwo Jima. Beloved husband to his wife of 57 years, Cathryn Brown. Loving father of two sons, Steve (Paige) Brown of Warrenton, Virginia, and Chris (Laura) Brown of Fredericksburg, Virginia; devoted grandfather of Jillian, Olivia, Ethan and Zachary. He is also survived by his brother Fred Brown of St. Petersburg, Florida.A memorial service will be held on Thursday December 1, 2011 at 2 p.m. with a reception to follow at Grace Brethren Church, 6501 Surratts Road, Clinton, MD 20735.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the AWANA Scholarship Fund at Grace Brethren Church.
