illiam Charles Bryant was born in Washington, DC on August 10th 1963 to the late Bertha Lee Bryant and James L Bryant. Friends and Family affectionately called him “Jody”. William received his education through the DC Public School system. He was a Member of Paramount Baptist Church, where he was baptized and worshiped with the First Love of His Life “Bertha Bryant” who was affectionately known as “Puddin”. William truly loved and adored his mom. He later joined Community Of Hope A.M.E church, under the Pastoral Leadership of Pastor Tony Lee. William was employed with Walmart in Alexandria, VA for 15 yrs. He left there and was employed with Home Depot in District of Columbia, as a overnight freight operator. He loved His jobs and he always gave 100% plus more. At any and everything he did. He was a very hard worker. He loved the fork lifts because that’s what his Dad did at his job. He would always let people know how much he appreciated them for whatever they did for him, whether big or small gestures he appreciated it all. William was a very outgoing person. When William met Gina the second Love of His Life, he became a changed man. They always showed Unconditional Love for one another, they were inseparable to the point of coordinating their clothes, no matter what color she wore he made sure he had a shirt/jacket etc. to match. Gina would say that William would walk thru the door every morning after work and he would Thank God for giving him traveling mercies and bringing him to a safe home. He would always let her know that he was happy and at peace. William you are loved and will be truly missed. William was proceeded in death by his Parents Bertha Lee and James L. Bryant. Also a brother David Charlie Bryant. William Transitioned on August 24th at the Hospice Of Charles County in Waldorf, Md. Where he received the BEST care anyone could have asked for. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, The second Love of His life; Gina, Son, Angelo-Md, Sister: Deborah Bryant(Gibson,NC) Brothers: David Bryant (Gibson, NC) Tony Bryant(Trina) Temple Hills,Md, James Frank Bryant (DC) James Bryant Jr( Celeste) Youngtown, OH, Calvin Bryant(Mary) Leuranburah,NC James Moore(Tiffin, OH) Lorenzo Moore (Tiffin, OH) 3 grandchildren Zakara,Amir and Arlo. 2 uncles George Bryant (Upper Marlboro,Md) William Bryant (Gibson, NC) and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to gather from 10-11 AM, with a service to begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 5th at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory: 6160 Oxon Hill road Oxon Hill, MD 20745.
