n Wednesday, January 11, 2017; the beloved husband of Gale Burns; father of Patrick (Sandi), Kevin (Melissa) and Michael Burns and Susan (Matthew) Roy; brother of Bob, Jim and Ellen Marie Burns; grandfather of Scott, Leo, Colin and Ryan Burns and Nathaniel, Brayden and Zachary Roy. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Bill's Celebration of Life at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary's of Piscataway Catholic Church (New Church), 13401 Piscataway Rd., Clinton, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
