William Dixon - Obituary

illiam Dixon of Oxon Hill also known as “Dick” or “Pop” died on Wednesday at his home. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Alice Dixon. father of Linda Walker of White Plains, MD., and the late Carol Scott. He is survived by his grandchildren, Michelle “Bo” Moore of Oxon Hill,MD. Carin “Tom” Moss of Hughesville,MD. Christopher “JC” Walker Sr. of White Plains,MD. and Jacquie “Sadie” Keeler of Bryans Road, MD. He also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren, Nicholas Colegrove, Ashley Kress, Christopher Walker Jr., Hunter Keeler, Jonathon, Jordan and Zachary Moss. Pop enjoyed his time at Oxon Hill Rental (1973-2001). He also enjoyed spending time with his family. In his younger years he enjoyed boating and working in the yard. In his later years he enjoyed watching TV, especially Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown, and Law & Order. Pop was loved by everyone he met. He will be missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to Pop's or Dick's Life Celebration on Sunday, December 4 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. where services will be held on Monday at 11am. Interment Washington National Cemetery. Please sign the guestbook located to the bottom left.
