William Kenneth Hall - Obituary

illiam Kenneth "Bill" Hall, 82, a resident of Selby on the Bay in Edgewater for 58 years, died of heart failure Sept. 2 at home. Born Feb. 18, 1925, in Floral Park, N.Y., the son of the late George and Elsie Hall, Mr. Hall attended school in Queens, N.Y., and Long Island. Mr. Hall served in the Navy as a boatswain's mate 3rd class and later worked for the former Chesapeake & Potomac Telephone Co., now known as Verizon, for 38 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 226 in Mayo and his interests included crabbing and carpentry. He built his own wooden boat. Surviving are his wife, Constance Hall, whom he married June 6, 1949; one son, Thomas William Hall of Crofton; and two grandsons. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by the George P. Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater.
