ILLIAM JOHN HALLAHAN, Maj. USA Ret. On Wednesday, August 25, 2010. Husband of the late Julia “Sis” Hallahan; father of William J. Hallahan, Jr., Mary Kathleen H. Smith and Sean P. (Deborah) Hallahan; grandfather of Christopher M. Smith and Kelley C. Feranec; great-grandfather of Patrick, Iain and Connor Feranec; friend and companion of the late Mary Layton. Friends are invited to Bill’s Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, August 30 at 11am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 101 Owensville Rd., West River, MD. Interment Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, September 23 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.).
