William P. Herbert - Obituary

illiam Paul “Bill” Herbert, 84, of Fairfax, VA and Shady Side, MD, passed away on June 3, 2018. Born on April 6, 1934 in Washington, DC to the late Bernard and Pearl Herbert, Bill graduated from the Charlotte Hall Military Academy and attended the George Washington University. He was the founder and owner of Fairfax Auto Parts stores. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed stamp collecting and boating. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Katherine; three sons, William, Jr., and his wife, Pamella, of Vienna, VA, Robert , and his wife Sandra, of Oakton, VA and Michael of Fairfax, VA; one daughter, Linda of Reston, VA; three grandsons, William III, Bryan and James; and two granddaughters, Kristin and Kelly. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 30 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 9970 Vale Rd., Vienna, VA.
