William Lord - Obituary

n Tuesday, June 21, 2011; MCPO(SW) William Edward Lord, USN(Ret.) retired as Master Chief of the Command at Atsugi Naval Air Station, Atsugi, Japan on August 1, 1987. He served on the Oriskany, Peuget Sound and Albany. He was the beloved husband of Minako Lord; father of Anna Marie Lord Crowe; brother of Glenn Edward Lord, Jr; grandfather of Gregory William, Edward James and Larainne Ann Crowe. Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. Lord's Life Celebration on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 6pm until time of service at 7:30pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Entombment and military honors will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 1pm at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Hwy., Cheletenham, MD 20603.
