William Francis Malkowski - Obituary

illiam Francis Malkowski (“Bill”), 87, of Temple Hills, Maryland, passed away on December 22, 2018. He was born on July 11, 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts, to the late William Malkowski and Stella Sroka. William retired from the United States Air Force after 26 years of service with the rank of Senior Master Sergeant, followed by a career at the US Mint. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed baseball, bowling and playing the accordion. He was actively involved with the Red Cross and a 4th Degree Knight with the Knights of Columbus. William is survived by his wife of 66 years, Betty; children, Stephen Malkowski (Karin), Lorraine Ramsey (Jim), and Patricia Lambeth; grandchildren, Christopher Lambeth (Alison), Heather Lambeth (Rick), Juli Sanders (Mike), Steven Wright, and Andrea Whitley (Jesse); great-grandchildren, Carter Sanders, Jackson Sanders, and Caroline Lambeth; sister, Florence Kazarian; and nephew, Alan Kazarian. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 10 am until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 5416 Henderson Way, Camp Springs, MD 20746. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Road, Clinton, MD 20735. A reception will follow at the Knights of Columbus, 3611 Stewart Road, Forestville MD, 20747.
