William McCullen - Obituary

illiam "Bill" Rutherford McCullen, Jr., 66, a 12-year resident of Charles Town, WV died April 16 at the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC. Born on February 14, 1947 in Plainfield, NJ to the late Margaret V. and William R. McCullen, Sr., Bill was a graduate of the University of Maryland. He retired as a sergeant from the U.S. Army where he was a horn player in the U.S. Army Band. In addition to music, Bill enjoyed model railroading. He is survived by his sister, Verne J. Oland and her husband, James Oland, of Shady Side, MD and two nieces, Heather Elise Oland and her husband, Kevin Shertz, of Chestertown, MD and Kristin Kimberly Oland of Washington, DC.
