William Neall - Obituary

illiam Wesley “Bill” Neall, Jr. was born on December 27, 1941. He died at his home in Arnold, MD on November 5, 2011 of natural causes. He was the oldest son of the late William W. and Doris M. Neall of Davidsonville, MD. He is survived by his children, William Neall III, Brian Neall, Michael Neall and Amanda Neall Ritchey. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Neall and his sister, Susan Neall Murnane. He has 9 grandchildren, Michael, Sabrina, Hannah, Brian, Sarah, Troy, Madison, Grace and Charlotte and many nieces and nephews. Bill was a top salesman at Mazo Lerch and Company in the 60's and 70's but was best known for running the Davidsonville Store which he purchased from his father in 1977. He was a quiet man who was generous to strangers and friends alike. He was a 32 Degree Mason and a member Annapolis Masonic lodge. In his later years he enjoyed traveling to Ireland, the Netherlands and Costa Rica with his brother-in-law, Timothy Murnane, and a group of close friends. He enjoyed afternoons at the Green Turtle in Edgewater and Mike's Crab House in Riva. Friends are invited to Bill’s Life Celebration on Tuesday, November 8, from 4 to 7PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, November 9, at All Hallows Parish, 864 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville. Interment immediately following in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the William and Doris Neall Memorial Scholarship Fund, Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway, Arnold, MD 21012.
