illiam “Bill” Fuller Ramsey, lovingly known as “Pa”, 83, a 20-year resident of Edgewater, MD passed away on January 22, 2025. Born on June 14, 1941 in Santa Rosa, CA to the late Ida Marjorie and Everett Franklin Ramsey, Bill served his country in the United States Army as a 101st Airborne Division paratrooper. He then established a lengthy career in telecommunications. A pioneer of the industry, he owned and operated Teltronic Towers, Inc. Bill was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Annapolis, MD, and a member of the Fleet Reserve Club of Annapolis. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing in Alaska, hunting geese, duck, elk, and turkey, and playing golf. Most of all, he loved spending cherished time with family and loved ones. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Carmela Ramsey; his daughter, Jennine Ramsey LaCroix and her husband Christopher Paul LaCroix of Annapolis, MD; his grandchildren, Maxine Ramsey LaCroix and Gabrielle Lea LaCroix of Annapolis; and his niece, Lynn Hanson and family of Grass Valley, CA. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project (online here or by mail to P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516).
