William Sellers - Obituary

illiam A. "Bill" Sellers, 52, a 12-year resident of Edgewater, MD and previously of Columbia, MD died suddenly in Orlando, FL of natural causes on May 20, 2009. Born October 31, 1956 in Washington, D.C., he received his Bachelors Degree in Physics from the University of Maryland and his Masters Degree in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Sellers was a physicist with the John Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. He was a member of the Principle Professional Staff, which parallels a tenured professor at the University. Bill loved being on the water; especially boating, jet skiing and enjoyed walking. He was the beloved son of Atlee M. Sellers of Edgewater, MD and the late Margaret C. Sellers. Friends are invited to Bill's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, May 26 from 6 to 8pm, where services will be held on Wednesday, May 27 at 11am. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
