William Smith - Obituary

n March 16, 2012, William G. “Bill” Smith died suddenly in Edgewater. Bill was born October 9, 1962 to Cecelia and the late Harold Smith in Bethesda. He then went on to proudly serve his country in the US Army. Bill was currently a custodian for Central Middle School in Anne Arundel County. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, drawing and was a diehard Ravens and NASCAR fan. Bill is survived by his mother; his wife Patricia Smith of Edgewater and his son Glen Smith of Edgewater. Bill was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Doug Smith. Friends are invited to Bill’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, on Thursday, March 22 from 2-4 and 6-8PM. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment private.
