ilma Gail "Billy" Monaco, 82, a resident of Annapolis for 25 years and formerly of Morgantown, W.Va., died Nov. 15 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a six-week illness.
Born July 30, 1925, in Paducah, Ky., Mrs. Monaco was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Fleet Reserve Club and the Evergreen Club. Her interests included painting, cooking, sewing and dancing.
She was the widow of Amerigo Joseph DiBastinia. Surviving are one daughter, Phyllis Jean Diamond of Hollywood, Fla.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial are private. Arrangements are by Kalas Funeral Home in Edgewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401
