McCarter; grandmother of Jake W., Clint I. and Erin G. Hovermale and Joseph P. McCarter; great-grandmother of Ella Marie Hovermale; sister of Bernice M. Hartwick, David H. Irwin and Carol A. Diette. Family and friends are invited Dorothy's Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd. Oxon Hill, MD on Monday, June 13 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM where services will be held at 8PM. Inurnment Arlington National Cemetery on Wednesday, July 20 at 10AM. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to either the Bethesda Naval Fisher House, 24 Stokes Rd., Bethesda, MD 20814 or the Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center Hospice, 4715 North 15th St., Arlington, VA 22205.
