Granville Boland - Obituary

ranville R. Boland, a resident of Annapolis since 1969, died on April 20, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness. Born December 27, 1933 in Baltimore, to the late John C. and Mildred M. Boland, he retired from Verizon and the United States Naval Academy. Granville was a lifetime member of Moose Lodge# 70 in Crownsville. He was predeceased by his longtime companion, Lucy Hall in February 2010. Granville is survived by a sister, Mary M. Smolek; three nephews and two nieces. Friends are invited to Granville’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater on Tuesday from 6 to 8pm, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 25 at 10am. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.
