James Michael Miller - Obituary

ames Michael Miller, Sr., 76, a resident of Davidsonville, MD for 76 years, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at his home. Born on May 2, 1950, in Annapolis, MD to the late Peter and Ruth Miller, James graduated from Davidsonville Elementary School and Annapolis Senior High School. As a teenager, James worked at Gladding Chevrolet and then went on to become the manager at Bowen’s Farm Supply, Inc. for 53 years. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Anne Arundel County Fair. James loved drag racing, his yard, his work, and most of all, his family. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his siblings, John M., Barbara and Pete Miller and Helen Wright. James is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Wendy Lee Miller; his children, James M. Miller, Jr. and Jonathan L. Miller both of Davidsonville, MD, Joel K. (Carlee) Miller of Edgewater, MD, Jennifer (Scott) O’Donnell of Riva, MD; his siblings, George Miller, Catherine Laster and Frances Miller as well as his grandchildren, Miles E. and Logan Q. Miller both of Edgewater, MD. Friends and family are invited to celebrate James’ life on Monday, May 11, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Riva Trace Baptist Church, 475 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, May 12 at 11 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Davidsonville, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Condolences may be made by using the Memories tab on this page.
